A glass classical island of the Isle of Skye. Always of high qualification, this was the choice of a Whisky Magazine editor. A lot of spices and fresh, peat tangy.

Notes

• Appearance: Shiny Gold.
• Nose: powerful smoke of peat with the salinity of the sea water, the liquor of fresh oysters, a sweetness of citrus.
• Physical: full
• Mouth: A rich sweetness dries the fruit with clouds of smoke and strong flavors of barley malt, warming and intense. In the back of the mouth is an explosion of pepper.
• Finish: huge, long, final warming spicy with a tempting sweetness.

Process of aging for Talisker 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch

Talisker 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch has been aged for 10 years, which is slightly shorter than the average of Scotch whisky. The age of this spirit refers to the minor mix component, there are parts that are much older.

Malts are whiskies that are distilled in Scotland. After distilling these spirits must be in oak barrels for a minimum of 3 years. Malt whiskies is composed of a blend of whiskeys produced in pot stills at a single distillery.

Oak is the wood that is used most frequently in the maturation of spirits due to its durability and high level of natural oils that are produced. These oils, called vanillins, are the main component of imparting flavor in the spirit of old into the barrel.
